Join us at our Women's Recruiting Symposium
To assist females interested in a policing, the Durham Regional Police Service is hosting a Women's Recruiting Symposium. For the last two years we have only been able to host virtual symposiums and this will be our first in-person women’s recruiting symposium since 2019. There will be DRPS members, including the recruitment unit on hand to provide information to females exploring a career in law enforcement.
Come and meet female officers, including the recruiting unit to learn about the hiring process and what it takes to become a member of the Durham Regional Police Service.
What to expect from the Women's Symposium:
- Panel discussion with female members on how policing has affected their lives
- Information on the current hiring process

- Opportunity to participate in mock interviews
- Learn why Durham Regional Police Service is best for you!
